As an architectural practice we
offer the standard services traditionally
associated with the design and procurement
of construction projects. We can
aid from the inception through the
design stages to the completion
of construction and extended maintenance
period.
Our architectural fees are determined
upon the constraints and complexities
of each individual commission. We
endeavour to complete work on a
fixed fee basis, as a rule of thumb,
the greater the cost of construction
work the lower the percentage fee.
In some instances, where the scope
of the work cannot be seen from
the outset it is often preferable
to fee on a time charge basis, perhaps
with an upper limit stipulated at
the beginning. Payments are made
upon the completion of various work
stages throughout the course of
the commission.
These work stages, together with
the services we offer are based
upon the RIBA/RIAS (Royal Incorporation
of British Architects, Royal Incorporation
of Architects in Scotland) plan
of work stages.
